A Beautiful Video

I made this video at a moment when I felt quite alone, though, was in a public place. I think this was my favorite moment I've ever had in a bar. The DJ was this older woman who just kept knocking me dead with her selections--all on vinyl as well. I wrote, "Let it Bleed" on a napkin, and she appeased me as soon as the current song finished playing.

My only regret with this video is that I wish I had waited longer to make it. The song, though wonderful and fitting, is just so hackneyed. There were better choices. Since I had nothing to do but drink and smoke, I wrote down the songs she played also. Many of them have become regulars in my own play--a sign of a fabulous DJ.

Like a Rolling Stone
Sexxxual Healing
???
Let it Bleed
Sea of Love
I Know this much is True--Gilbert and Sullivan (I vowed I would learn this on guitar)
Five Years--Bowie
Sailing--Rod Stewart (OMG, I think this was the moment my life completely changed)
I Love You More than I can Say (?)--Leo Sayer
You are So Beautiful
Something by Barbara Streisand

She did the thing where she put the record she was playing on display. This place will be forever in my memory as the greatest bar in the world. I'll be sure to go back.
