I've decided I want to try practicing writing in a more professional sort of review type format. I got this idea from a guy that did this on the Sound Opinions Messageboard for Bob Dylan.
So, I'm going to review every song off every major Sonic Youth release. I'll give the album and each respective song on it a Pitchfork Style grade (0-10).
Hopefully all this will properly anticipate (already at level neon brown!) the two concerts I'll be seeing by them in a couple weeks.

Whoa, I'm doing the same thing on my blog in two weeks, been writing it up for awhile. Wondering if I should now though.

Yeah, mine won't be up till the 22nd, I've decided. Been working on it for over a month, I just have so much OTHER stuff I'm writing. It'll be split across five posts total. Yours are awesome so far. Very curious for your take on A Thousand Leaves--my favorite album by any band ever, don't know if I've ever told you that.
